My expectations for Bonfire night this year were low, I had a lecture from 6 - 8pm and I wasn't at home to experience the traditional firework display. Me and my housemates (who were all in the same boat) decided that we would have our own night of firework fun, we decided not to set any fireworks off ourselves as that most likely would have resulted in a trip to a&e.

So we went to the supermarket and stocked up on sparklers and typical bonfire night goodies, we came home stuck our pyjamas on and had had a feast of: Hot dogs, Nacho's, Chocolate apples and bags of sweets. When we were all completely stuffed we put our coats and slippers on and ventured into the cold garden for some sparkler fun. we finished the festivities with hot chocolate and Made in Chelsea. What originally was expected to be a let down proved to be such a lovely evening with some of my best friends. And who needs more than that?

Hope everybody had a lovely Bonfire night and everyone kept safe :) What did everyone get up to? Anyone have any Bonfire night traditions?
